Marcus began as programmer in the early 90’s and soon founded his own successful business. Marcus is a serial entrepreneur and founder in the technology and ecommerce space. Almost all of his businesses involved a proprietary technology build to create a superior platform which in multiple cases became #1 in the Irish market. Businesses include Budget Telecom, 1st licensed telco in Ireland, Flight information systems for Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Exeter airports, largest prepaid calling card provider in Ireland, largest mobile quiz in Ireland, largest virtual chat provider in Ireland, worlds first SMS lottery (BigSix) and BetBright which founded in 2012 where Marcus was CEO for 7 years before selling the technology and the team to 888 Plc to be their core global sports betting operation.

Professor Phil Maguire

Phil Maguire is a lecturer in computer science at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, specialising in algorithms, metrology, fintech and cryptocurrencies. He runs the algorithmic trading branch of a proprietary trading company and has extensive experience with market making in futures markets.
